EX-01

Bringing a multi-cloud bill under management

Mid-market manufacturer · Azure · AWS

IllustrativeN-02

Context

After a rapid migration the monthly bill kept growing, and nobody could say which team or product was spending. Reserved capacity had been bought as needed, and licensing overlapped compute the estate no longer needed.

Approach

A cost baseline first: tagging, allocation, one attributable ledger. Then right-sizing against real usage curves, and only then a commitment plan priced on what remained. We installed a monthly review loop with the client's own engineers in the chair.

Outcome

The run-rate came down within the first quarter and stayed down, because a standing review loop, not a one-off cleanup, owns the bill. The team runs it without us.

EX-02

A Zero Trust rollout that didn't break the work

Regulated distributor · Microsoft 365 estate

IllustrativeN-03

Context

Audit findings and a fragmented security stack: identity, endpoints, and data each guarded by a different tool, none owned end to end. Every proposed change risked interrupting daily operations.

Approach

A posture review mapped identities, endpoints, and workloads against the threat model. Defender, Entra ID, and data controls rolled out layer by layer, each stage tested against live traffic before enforcement. Runbooks and handover sessions closed the engagement.

Outcome

The audit findings closed, the team rehearses incident response instead of leaving it on paper, and the internal IT team operates the stack. Escalation paths exist, but the estate is theirs.

These write-ups are illustrative composites: the method is ours, the client is fictional. Consented client studies replace them as they are published.

The method is public. Client results stay private.

We document engagements with client consent only. The approach itself is on record across our services. Bring us a live problem and see it applied.
